Terms and Conditions:
These are the overall Terms and Conditions for the "Notion Coaching" Service provided by Balanced Systems Aleksander Antoszek, incorporated at Galicyjska 8, Giebułtów, 32-085 Poland. EU VAT ID: PL5130280288, registration number: 522835960.
These Terms outline the process of purchasing and using the Service.
For the purposes of this document, "Notion Coaching", "Service" are used to describe the services we provide to you.
"Coach", "us", "we", "our", "Balanced Systems", "Company" or "Balanced", mean the service provider, Balanced Systems Aleksander Antoszek.
"You", "Customer", "Client" and "Your" mean you as the user of our Service.
"Notion", "Notion app", "Notion software" relate to the software provided by Notion Labs Inc.
"Thomas Frank", "TF", "Thomas" mean products and services offered by Business Things and Whatnot, LLC.
"Work Product" relates to a) the knowledge and time provided by the Coach to you during live sessions, and b) all systems and workflows built with assistance of or directly by the Coach in the Notion app.
Notion Labs, Inc and Business Things and Whatnot, LLC are non-parties to these Terms. The Terms operate as a contract between You and Balanced.
By booking your first session through any of our dynamic booking links ("https://book.balancedsystems.io/...", "https://cal.com/antoszek/...", "https://cal.com/michaelgrochot/...", "https://cal.com/team/balanced...", "https://checkout.revolut.com...") you certify that you have read and agreed to these Terms. 1. Service Overview:
The Notion Coaching service is delivered as a series of live sessions delivered through teleconferencing software (eg. Zoom, Google Meet, etc.). You get paired with a Coach that will assist you in the process of learning and operating software provided by Notion Labs Inc. (accessible through "https://notion.so"). Our Coaches are experienced professionals that are very proficient in Notion. Each session is one hour long, and we bill you per session. We use dynamic pricing depending on availability and demand, and so the final price of each session varies per client.
The minimum commitment is two (2) sessions, and when booking the first session you give us the permission to charge your card for two sessions. The second session must be scheduled by the customer within 2 months from the first session. Otherwise, the customer gives us permission to charge their card for two session total, even if only one session actually took place.
There are multiple ways to sign up for this Service. You may sign up by;
- Emailing us at hi@balancedsystems.io. We will provide you with an overview of the Service, and a unique quote per session. You then will be provided with a dynamic booking link that will collect payment as well. You may also be provided with a separate calendar booking link, and a separate payment link.

We reserve the right to refuse providing the Service at our discretion. In case of refusal, we will refund your payment and notify you via email.
We may, occasionally, at our own discretion, provide a free, non-binding meet & greet call that the customer may use as an opportunity to meet their assigned Coach and discuss their needs. In case you do not sign up for our full service after said call, only sections three and four of these Terms apply.
2. Payment and refunds:
Each coaching session is one hour long, and each session is paid separately, except for the first two sessions, which are paid together as an initial charge. We use dynamic pricing depending on availability and demand, and so the final price of each session varies per client. Our payments are handled by Stripe or Revolut. By using this service, you agree to Stripe's own Terms and Services or Revolut's Terms and Services.
The fee for the first two sessions is non-refundable, except when;
- The Coach cancels and doesn't provide an alternative time within 72 hours past the original time slot for either of the two introductory sessions.
Fees for every following session can be refunded if:
- Customer cancels the session 72 hours before it is due
- Coach cancels and/or asks for reschedule and doesn't provide an alternative time within 72 hours past the original time slot
In case the Coach is not able to provide the Service due to technical or personal reasons, we will offer you an alternative time for the next session, and/or refund you.
In all other cases, including Customer cancellations after the 72 hours mark, Customer not showing up, Customer not having a decent enough internet connection, the session fee is non-refundable. In extraordinary circumstances, we may be able to refund an already booked session if the Customer cannot attend, but this can happen only at our sole discretion with communication and proof of an extraordinary situation affecting the Customer.
All our payment links have auto-charge turned on. Once you enter your card details, we'll charge your card whenever we schedule a new session. If we can't reach you to schedule the second session, we'll run a charge for that per our two-session-minimum rule. Once we end working together, we'll remove your card from our Stripe account.
Important: Value Added Tax (VAT) and other sales taxes may apply. You agree to cover all tax required by Polish law after prior notice by the us. We may run a separate charge for VAT, and you authorize us to do that.
3. Limited liability
The Work Product resulting from the Services described in these Terms shall be operated in a third-party software solution provided by Notion Labs, Inc. The Company has no legal relationship with Notion Labs and shall not be held liable for any loss of information, software downtime, or other damage to the Customer caused by Notion Labs and its services. Balanced shall only be held liable for damages that are directly caused by Balanced's actions and not for any other damages. The liability of Balanced shall be limited to the amount paid by Customer to Balanced for the Services under these Terms. Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Balanced from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to Customer's use of the Services, except to the extent that such claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses are caused by Balanced's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
4. Confidentiality and data practices
4.1 Definition of Confidential Information:
Confidential Information shall include all information disclosed to Balanced by the Customer in connection with the Services, including, but not limited to, Customer's business plans, financial information, trade secrets, customer lists, and any other information that is designated as confidential by the Customer.
4.2 Obligations:
Balanced agrees to receive and maintain the Confidential Information in strict confidence and to use the Confidential Information solely for the purpose of providing the Services to the Customer. Balanced shall not disclose or use the Confidential Information for any other purpose without the prior written consent of the Customer. Balanced shall take all reasonable steps necessary to prevent the unauthorized disclosure or use of the Confidential Information, including, but not limited to, limiting access to the Confidential Information to those employees or contractors who have a need to know and who are bound by written obligations of confidentiality at least as restrictive as those set forth herein.
4.3 Exceptions:
The obligations set forth herein shall not apply to any information that:
(a) is or becomes generally known to the public through no fault of the Company;
(b) is already in the Company’s possession prior to its disclosure by the Client; or
(c) is independently developed by the Company without theuse of any Confidential Information.
The Company may use third-party software solutions to provide the services. While Balanced takes all precautions needed to protect the Customer's Confidential Information, Balanced is not liable for any breach of Confidential Information occurring due to a third-party provider’s data breach. The Customer understands this as well as commits to taking all the necessary precautions to protect their online accounts provided by third-parties.
4.4 Subcontractors:
Balanced may, at its sole discretion, engage subcontractors to provide the Service. Subcontractors may interact with the Customer directly, and may have access to some or all Confidential Information provided by the Customer. Subcontractors are bound by additional agreements and terms. Balanced is the Service provider, and will act as an intermediary in case of any disputes and/or data breach. In case of conflict, Balanced assumes limited liability pursuant to the Agreement between Balanced and its Subcontractors.
For the Customer's information, current subcontractors include:
- Mieszko Grochot Mieszko Grochot, incorporated at Armii Krajowej 2/116, 30-150, Kraków, POLAND. Registration number: 524009633.
- Focused Solutions Jakub Skupień, incorporated at Aleja 29 Listopada 39F/34, 31-435, Kraków, POLAND. Registration number: 6762647826.
4.5 Third-party digital tools:
This Service is provided by Balanced, but may be operated with assistance from digital tools (software) provided by third-parties. By accepting these Terms, you accept and agree for Balanced to store any and all of your Confidential Information in these tools, and you accept the relevant Terms and Policies of said companies and their software products.
For the record, Balanced currently uses the following third-party software to provide the Service:
- Notion, provided by Notion Labs, Inc. (https://notion.so)
- Google Workspace, provided by Google, Inc. (https://workspace.google.com/)
- Cal.com, provided by Cal.com, Inc. (https://cal.com)
- Zoom, provided by Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (https://zoom.us)
Optional: (may be used)
- Whimsical, provided by Whimsical, Inc. (https://whimsical.com)
- Loom, provided by Loom, Inc. (https://loom.com)
4.6 Retention of Confidential Information:
Confidential Information may be stored and accessed by Balanced up to five years after the Service ends. Confidential Information may be removed from Balanced's systems after prior written request by the Customer. Third-party software tool operators may have their own data retention periods, and may store your data indefinitely if required by law.
Balanced strives to comply with the GDPR and CCPA. Please email us (clients@balancedsystems.io) with your GDPR and CCPA requests and opt-outs.
5. Referrals
You may have been referred to us by Thomas Frank (Business Things and Whatnot, LLC). Balanced acts as an Independent Contractor of Thomas Frank, and we receive occasional Customer referrals from them. Business Things and Whatnot is a non-party to these Terms, holds no liability or responsibility for damages caused by Balanced and its provision of Services described under these Terms. By signing up for the Notion Coaching service, you become a separate customer of Balanced.
Conversely, Balanced holds no liability for your usage of products and services sold by Thomas Frank. In case of any issues or complaints, you should direct them to Thomas Frank and their relevant customer support services (support@collegeinfogeek.com).
6. Governing law:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Poland, the Company’s legal jurisdiction. All European Union law and bilateral treaties with the Customer's jurisdiction apply where applicable.
7. Waiver:
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
